The Corporate Board and Board of Education at Notre Dame de la Baie Academy are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert C. Pauly as its next President effective July 1, 2010. Pauly, who serves as President of Saint Thomas More High School in Milwaukee, was raised in Green Bay and attended St. Matthew Grade School and graduated from Our Lady of Premontre High School in 1975. Robert Pauly and his wife Ginney are active members of their Catholic parish. They have three children: Sarah, Timmy and Andrew.
Mr. Pauly replaces Fr. Dane Radecki, O. Praem. who has served as Principal and President for 10 years during the 20-year history of Notre Dame Academy. The Board of Education also announces that Fr. Radecki will become President Emeritus and continue to serve the school as a support and advisor to the new President and ambassador for the Notre Dame community.

| Abbot Gary Neville, O. Praem., Chairman of the Corporate Board of NDA said, “The Corporate Board of Notre Dame Academy is delighted to confirm Robert Pauly’s selection as President. We welcome him back to his alma mater where he spent his high school years and began his teaching and campus ministry roles. As a rookie teacher myself, I remember Bob as a talented, energetic student. He brings his presidential experience back to us and I look forward to working with him again. I know that he is deeply committed to excellence in Catholic education.”
Pauly previously served as chairperson of the religion department at Premontre High School where he also directed student retreats, coordinated liturgical music and taught theology. He served in a similar position from 1995 until being named President at Saint Thomas More in 2006. Pauly holds an M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
In accepting the position of Notre Dame President, Pauly says, “It is with great hope and anticipation that I return to my alma mater and hometown to lead an incredible school like Notre Dame Academy. I look forward to serving as President and meeting all of the wonderful people associated with Notre Dame. I will bring a respect for the school and its students, a familiarity with many of its alumni and a heart connection with the Norbertine tradition.”
Cecile Faller, Chair of the Notre Dame Academy Board of Education notes, “During the search process it was evident that Mr. Pauly is an adept thinker whose capacities to lead and inspire will continue the positive momentum at Notre Dame. He embodies academic excellence, faith-filled leadership and a deep commitment to the mission of Notre Dame Academy.”
Pauly’s responsibilities as president are to model spiritual leadership to the Notre Dame Academy community; lead the school’s institutional advancement initiatives; work collaboratively with the administration, faculty and staff; serve as the direct liaison to the Board of Education and Corporate Board Members; and foster community relations.
Notre Dame Academy is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Notre Dame offers a comprehensive curriculum, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Ninety-eight percent of its graduates attend post-secondary education.
