Exams will be given in every class, except PE classes. Study areas will be located in the Library and the Commons during the school day. Students need to report for their first exam period of the day and they may leave after their last exam period of the day. If students choose to stay in the building, they must be in an assigned study area during exam times.

Buses will run at the regular time in the morning. Buses will pick students up from NDA at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 21, and at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, December 22. Howard-Suamico buses will pick up students at the regular 3:15 p.m. time on all three days.

*PLEASE NOTE* - Friday, December 23 is scheduled as an Exam Make-up Day. If school is canceled due to weather on any of the scheduled exam days, there will be school held on Friday, December 23 to make up the exams.

School Delays/Cancellations & Final Exams
As we officially enter the winter season, I want to share our plans if we were to have a delayed start or school cancellation due to weather conditions during final exams. It is rare that we have delays/cancellations due to weather. However, we want families and students to be able to plan accordingly if we incur a delay or cancellation.

If we experience a two-hour delay on exam days, our testing schedule will be pushed ahead two hours. For example, if we have a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, December 19, the Period 1 final would begin at 10 a.m. and the Period 8 final would end at 2:10 p.m. As far as bus transportation, with a two-hour delay, buses will pick students up at home two hours later than the normal pick-up time and bring students home from NDA at 3:15 p.m. (our regular dismissal time).

If we have a school cancellation during semester exams, we will proceed the next day with our regular exam schedule for that day and reschedule our cancelled exams for Friday, December 23. For example, if we have a school cancellation on Wednesday, December 21, we will have the Periods 3,4, and 5 exams on Friday, December 23 at their originally scheduled time. The exams scheduled on Thursday, December 22 would then be taken as originally scheduled
