BIG BUDDY PROGRAM

The Big Buddy Program pairs upper class Notre Dame Academy students with incoming freshmen students to help with the transition to high school.  Buddies are paired together based on common interests in areas such as academics, athletics, clubs and various other extracurricular interests. 

Freshmen will receive a call from their Big Buddy the summer prior to the start of the school year.  Big Buddies get together with their Little Buddies (usually about 5 freshmen) a few times over the summer months to engage in fun activities, answer questions, and give tours of the school.

Big Buddies will also act as leaders at the Freshman Retreat as well as at Freshman Orientation on the Friday prior to the start of school.  Big Buddies will also make follow-up contact with their Little Buddies at least twice during the first semester of school to ensure a successful transition to Notre Dame Academy.

The Buddy Program is open to all incoming freshmen as well as Transfer Students and International Students.
