Transitions to High School Program
Incoming freshmen are invited to participate in the TRANSITIONS TO HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM.
This program is optional and provides students opportunities to:
• Learn what it means to be an NDA student and a part of the faith community.
• Learn specific study and social skills.
• Meet students from other grade schools with whom they will be sharing their NDA experience.
• Learn helpful listening, organizational, and note-taking skills.
• Learn classroom expectations directly from NDA faculty.
• Understand learning styles and which ones apply best to their specific needs.
• Become comfortable in and knowledgeable about the layout of the school building.
• Get answers to their questions about dress code, their schedules, and anything else that might be concerning them.
Transitions to High School is offered at two different times during the summer.
