Girls tennis is state bound as a team for the second year in a row! A fierce match between NDA's 1 Doubles team (Julia Slusarek/Madeline Darling) versus Manitowoc ended with a win, edging top-seeded Manitowoc by one point allowing NDA to make it to state as a team.

Slusarek/Darling, Bella Zent/Caragan Olles, and Grace Purcell also made it to state as individuals. Individual state takes place October 11-13.

Individual State Outcome:
Purcell fell to Whitefish Bay in the first round.
Zent/Olles fell to Mukwonago in the second round.
Slusarek/Darling fell to Slinger in the second round.

Congratulations to the entire team, which will compete at state on October 19-20. The semi-final match against Whitefish Bay will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19 at Nielson Stadium in Madison.

Under the direction of Coach Steve Burns and Coach Phil Kuenzi, the team is comprised of: Slusarek/Darling, Zent/Olles, Purcell, Micah Dennis/Seela Raj, Jacki Brady, Rachel Van Hefty, and Ally Johnson. Also participating on Varsity this year were Sophie Rotherham and Sydney Steckart.


Girls golf completed its season at sectionals on Tuesday, October 2 at Royal Scot Golf Course. The team finished 5th overall, and Ellese Martin finished 10th with a score of 88 and Josie Sullivan finished 19th with a score of 92.


Cross Country's conference meet took place on October 11. Sectionals at Kiel is on Saturday, October 20.


Girls Volleyball will begin its post-season on Thursday, October 18 at 7 p.m. at home. The team's opponent is Sturgeon Bay.


Boys Soccer begins regional play on Thursday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. The team's opponent is Roncalli/Two Rivers.


Boys Football will face Fox Valley Lutheran at home on Friday, October 19 at 7 p.m. in level 1 playoffs.
