Charlie Sauter, NDA 2019, has been named Triton of the Week for the week of November 12, 2018.
A stand out senior, he is a stellar athlete and a person with many leadership qualities. His strong work ethic inside and outside the classroom is evident on a daily basis. Cassidy McGowan, learning resource specialist, said, "Charlie works hard, is naturally talented, and conducts himself with the utmost humility."

Sauter recently competed at the state cross country competition, helping his team win second place, which is the highest ranking NDA boys have achieved since 1990. Sauter placed 11th at the state tournament. He was also the only NDA male to compete at the state track & field tournament during the 2017-18 school year.
"Charlie's hard work has allowed him to be successful here at NDA and to exceed his potential," said McGowan. "Further, Charlie has a commitment to the larger community. He is always encouraging others to better themselves while participating in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. He stands tall among his peers."
Following high school, Sauter will attend the University of Idaho, University of Minnesota, or Kansas State University.
