Actions speak louder than words.
Jeremy Delgado is a prime example of that.
“He’s walking the walk and not just talking the talk,” Social Studies Teacher Christian Dory said of the soft-spoken sophomore.
“He is just a diligent, hard worker. Whenever he does something, he does it so thoroughly. He’s a model student in my class. He’s getting it done.”
For his efforts, Delgado is our Triton of the Week for the week of Nov. 11, 2019.
“I’ve improved, and I’m doing way better than last year,” Delgado said.
Delgado regularly volunteers with his church and hopes his dedication in the classroom will help him achieve a childhood dream one day.
“Ever since I was 6, I’ve wanted to be a police officer,” Delgado said. “I just get satisfaction by helping others.”
Delgado appreciates how everyone at NDA is willing to offer a helping hand.
“I enjoy how everyone treats you like family and how the teachers help you a lot,” Delgado said.
