NDA Class of 2017 Accomplishments

The students of the Class of 2017 have accomplished much at NDA. Following high school, students will attend schools such as New York University, UW-Madison, Carroll University, and NWTC. NDA wishes the Class of 2017 the best of luck!

On Saturday, May 27, 204 students within the Class of 2017 walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, becoming NDA's newest alumni.

The event began with Mass led by the Most Rev. David L. Ricken and was followed by the commencement ceremony, which featured speeches by Katrina Dietsche and Eleanor Sladek. Honored at the ceremony were Emily Gibson, valedictorian, and Sylvia Griffitt, salutatorian.

The Class of 2017 will be sending students to schools such as the University of Notre Dame, the U.S. Naval Academy, New York University, UW-Eau Claire, Carroll University, and NWTC, just to name a few. The largest quantity of students will be attending UW-Madison this fall, followed by St. Norbert College.

Girls Volleyball

The Class of 2017 is walking away from NDA with many achievements under their belts.

  • Girls volleyball team making state for the second year in a row
  • Nate Ihlenfeldt becoming Mr. NDA 2017
  • DI going to globals for the second year running
  • Jacob Rose bringing the Tritonfest 2017 attendees to their feet as he shared his story, thus raising more than $40,000 in 10 minutes
  • Athletes in tennis, golf, cross country, and track & field going to state
  • Football team becoming state runner up
  • High School Musical selling out for the first time in years
  • Brady Bjork and Michael Karow continuing their hockey careers at the next level
  • Alex Wasilkoff receiving the senior award, which was voted on by his classmates
  • So much more!
