Samuel Peterman, NDA 2020, is Triton of the Week for the week of April 8, 2019.
A dedicated member of the boys hockey team and International Baccalaureate student, Peterman strives to succeed in all facets of life.
"Sam is a model of consistency. Very rarely do you get a player in high school that shows up every day and is the same player and person," said Coach Cory McCracken, NDA boys hockey coach. "His consistency is in all facets: competitiveness, work ethic, accountability, and, most importantly, through being a great teammate."

Peterman enjoys staying active, whether that is on the hockey rink during the high school boys hockey season or through recreational sports, such as tennis and basketball. He also volunteers his time at the Kress Library in De Pere during the summer.
His favorite teacher is Mr. Matt Schultz. "He [Schultz] is an amazing teacher and just a pleasure to be with in class with. He always finds a way to make all topics interesting and has a great sense of humor," said Peterman.
McCracken concluded, "Sam has tremendous character and treats all of his teammates the right way, through encouragement, positivity, and enthusiasm. Sam is excited when a teammate has success, and he always has a smile on his face. He is a leader by example."
