Triton of the Week - Grace Shaw

Grace Shaw, NDA senior, is the Triton of the Week for the week of January 29, 2018.

Theology teacher Mrs. Katie Stanczak describes Grace as a kind and compassionate student who always shares a smile with others. "Grace's genuine nature, motivation as a student-athlete, and commitment to her education overall helps to make NDA a wonderful place for all of us," wrote Mrs. Stanczak.

Grace has been an honor roll achiever all four years. Her volunteer activities includes assisting with projects at the Freedom House and St. Pat's Pantry. Grace has been involved extensively with APPP and takes pride in welcoming underclassmen to NDA in the classroom, in student activities, and on the athletic field. A fellow student-athlete mentioned that Grace always takes the extra step to make everyone feel appreciated.

Grace Shaw is the Triton of the Week

Grace has been a stellar performer for the NDA Varsity girls soccer team for four years and, during this period, has received a multitude of accolades including Green Bay Press Gazette Breakout Athlete of the Year (2015) and Player of the Year (2016), as well as All-State honors in 2016 and 2017, FRCC All-Conference honors 2015 through 2017, FRCC Player of the Year 2016 and 2017, USA Today Northeastern Wisconsin Soccer Player of the Year, and nominated for 2016-17 Gatorade Player of the Year.

Grace will be signing a letter of intent next week to enroll at Michigan Tech where she plans to study pre-med and play soccer.

Congratulations, Grace Shaw, as the recipient of the Triton of the Week award!
