Magnus Software launch August 1
In the 2018-19 school year, we are moving to a system where parents can quickly, securely, and easily sign forms electronically. The software is called Magnus. More information will be mailed to you next week. All families will need to complete the requirements in Magnus by Friday, August 10. Families that have completed the requirements by August 9 will have their name put into a drawing to receive one of three $50 gift cards to our school store.

August 8 and 9: Schedule & Book Pick-Up (All Students)
This required event is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on August 8 and 9. Students and families pick up class schedules, textbooks, locker numbers, PowerSchool login and password information, parking permits, planners, bus information and tokens, and bookstore items.

Pictures for student IDs are taken at this event. Families are also able to pay tuition, purchase activity passes, and fund student lunch accounts.

Day 1: Last names A-K
Day 2: Last names L-Z

The process typically takes 30 minutes. For those unable to attend, textbooks can be picked up following freshman orientation and school portraits will be taken on the first day of school. Cash and checks will be accepted for payments.

August 15: Spanish Placement Exam (New Students)

Required
If your student would like to try to test into Spanish 2, they must take the NDA Spanish Placement Exam on Wednesday, August 15 from 3-4 p.m. This is a make-up test date for those who could not make it in March or have applied since early March. The mandatory Freshman Retreat immediately follows the placement exam. Please contact Amy Stover with questions.

August 15: Freshman Retreat (New Students)
Required
On Wednesday, August 15 from 4-8 p.m., freshmen are required to attend the freshman retreat at NDA. A pizza dinner is provided, and Mass will begin at 7:15 p.m. Through personal reflection, group discussion, and group activities, retreats help to build a Christian Community that provides each individual an appropriate challenge toward personal spiritual growth.

August 17: New Student Orientation (New Students)

New Student Orientation will be held on August 17 from 8-11:30 a.m. This is a required event for all freshmen and new students.
