Ms. Eva Cruz Martinez
Eva Cruz Martinez is part of the administrative team at Casa ALBA Melanie, which is the Hispanic Resource Center for the greater Green Bay area.
Eva moved to Green Bay when she was eight years old from Oaxaca, Mexico in 1999. She graduated from Preble High School in 2010, she attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College before transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Eva double majored in education and Latin American studies and graduated with a B.S. and B.A. degree from UWGB in 2017.
Eva has worked with youth for about 10 years. She has worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, as a paraprofessional for the Green Bay Public School District and has done intense trauma informed care helping youth in treatment centers, educational, and community settings. Eva also holds a foster care licence through Brown County.
Eva loves her job because she gets to help her community. She is part of the Latino Professional Association, and part of the Achieve Brown County Supporting Our Students Collaborative Action Team (S.O.S). Eva enjoys spending time with family, fitness and outdoor activities. This is Eva’s first year serving on the Board of Education.
