Abbot De Wane Lifetime Achievement Fund

The Notre Dame Academy community mourns the passing of Abbot Thomas De Wane on July 31, 2021.

In partnership with the De Wane family, NDA alumni have proposed an Abbot E. Thomas De Wane Lifetime Achievement Fund to be established at NDA. This fund will be seeded by a generous gift of $25,000 if the donation is matched by alumni and friends of the Abbot and his family. The fund will be available for scholarships, academic growth, the religion department and the greatest need expressed by NDA.

Abbot De Wane lived his life in service to God, the Church, and the scores of people with whom he lived, worked and served. As educator, administrator, Abbot, parish priest, friend and spiritual companion, Abbot De Wane ministered to people from all portions of society as an example of how to bring us closer to God’s great love of each and every person.

We reach out to all alumni and alumni parents of Our Lady of Premontre, St. Joseph Academy, Abbot Pennings and NDA to help us to match this $25,000 challenge.

Please send checks payable to Notre Dame Academy and labelled Abbot De Wane Fund to NDA at 610 Maryhill Drive, Green Bay, WI 54303.
