Cassidy Noble named Triton of the Week
Cassidy Noble is like a busy bee.
The Notre Dame Academy senior is always involved with something and enjoys staying active with multiple organizations.
"Notre Dame makes it really easy to get involved with clubs and sports," said Noble, who is the Triton of the Week for the week of May 4, 2020. "It's encouraged, and I think that helps. It's cool to be involved and do things for the school. I like to be busy, and I like to keep doing things."
Noble has done a lot during her time at NDA, including being a National Honor Society officer, retreat leader, Triton Troupe member, Spanish Club co-president, Investment Club member, Sting Cancer member, Eucharistic Minister, golf team member and a part of the executive board of Student Government.
She went on a service trip to Chicago as a sophomore and was a part of the Jamaica service trip last summer. During the annual Phone-A-Thone, Noble has gone above and beyond in volunteering to make calls for the cause.
"Cassidy was a superstar for Phone-a-Thon," Development Coordinator Claire Teitz said. "She recruited the girls golf team for a calling day, volunteered to make calls on multiple nights and raised thousands for NDA."
Outside of school, Noble is a Miracle League Buddy and a summer nanny. She also has worked a part-time job as a hostess at a restaurant since her sophomore year.
"I'm pretty motivated, so that's why I like having a job outside of doing just school stuff because you get to talk to people from different age groups," Noble said. "I like that part of it. I think having a balanced life between school and outside of school is important. At Notre Dame, you're given a lot of opportunities to do that, so I'm very thankful for that."
While balancing a busy schedule, Noble achieved a Top 10 ranking for the Class of 2020.
She will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she'll major in biology and pursue optometry school or a different career in the health and sciences field.
"I've always liked science the most," Noble said. "I really like helping people and being with people, so I feel like a career in the health field is the best for me just because I like science and I like doing research. I also plan to minor in Spanish, so I want to be able to help people in both English and Spanish."
Among the many activities Noble has been involved with at NDA, she said it's the simple things she'll miss the most.
"I think just my favorite memories are the day-to-day life at Notre Dame, and just the relationship the teachers have with the students," Noble said.
