Evelyn Rickards named Triton of the Week
Evelyn Rickards wasted no time in making an impact at Notre Dame Academy as a freshman.
“Evie was a star during Phone-a-Thon 2019,” Development Coordinator Claire Teitz said about Rickards’ participation during the school’s fundraising effort in the fall.
“She called on seven of the eight nights and proactively asked about Phone-a-Thon so that she was sure to come. Evie raised $6,315 and made hundreds of calls. She also helped mentor the kids who hadn't called before. She completely fits the definition of what we mean as a Triton of the Week!”
For her efforts, Rickards is our Triton of the Week for the week of Dec. 2, 2019.
“I went the first time because we had to do it as part of Sting Cancer,” Rickards said. “I went again thinking all of them were for Sting Cancer at first, but then I actually enjoyed it because I’m a very talkative person. I talk a lot. I found that it was fun because I also love to give and be nice to people and spread happiness.”
In addition to Sting Cancer, Rickards is involved in Drama Club and French Club. She is interested in pursuing a career that involves film and art.
