Cross Country girls and boys made us proud at state! The boys took second and the girls took third, the best finishes NDA has seen in multiple years.

The top finishers for the boys were: Charlie Sauter (11th place), Reid Milton (16th place), Howie Gerstner (22nd place), and Adam Brada (31st place).

The top finishers for the girls were: Jenna Cuene (5th), Molly Desotell (7th), Katya Geyer (9th), and Kayla Hawley (32nd).

Cross Country sectional results: The girls took 1st and the boys took 2nd at sectionals on Saturday, October 20 in Kiel. The runners of both teams ran extremely well, all finishing within the top 25. For the girls team: Jenna Cuene took 3rd, Molly Desotell took 8th, Katya Geyer took 10th, Kayla Hawley took 14th, Bella Zingler-Hoslet took 15th, Abby Haase took 20th, and Courtney Ledvina took 23rd. For the boys team: Charlie Sauter took 1st, Reid Milton took 2nd, Howie Gerstner took 6th, Owen Brummel took 11th, Adam Homel took 14th, and Adam Brada took 20th.

Boys football had a great season, making it to level 3 playoffs! The team defeated Fox Valley Lutheran in level 1 and Seymour in level 2.

Girls volleyball won the regional championship on Saturday, October 20 in a competitive and exciting match up against Shawano in NDA's Triton Center. NDA won in five games, winning the final game by a score of 19-17. The team defeated Sturgeon Bay in the regional semi-final on Thursday, October 18. We congratulate the girls volleyball team on making it to sectionals and on a fantastic season!

Girls tennis went to state as a team for the second year in a row! A fierce match between NDA's 1 Doubles team (Julia Slusarek/Madeline Darling) versus Manitowoc ended with a win, edging top-seeded Manitowoc by one point allowing NDA to make it to state as a team.

Slusarek/Darling, Bella Zent/Caragan Olles, and Grace Purcell also made it to state as individuals. Individual state took place October 11-13.

Congratulations to the entire team, which competed at state on October 19. Zent/Olles charted a win against Whitefish Bay at the state tournament. NDA was one of eight teams in the state to make it to state in D1 out of the 96 total teams.

Under the direction of Coach Steve Burns and Coach Phil Kuenzi, the team is comprised of: Slusarek/Darling, Zent/Olles, Purcell, Micah Dennis/Seela Raj, Jacki Brady, Rachel Van Hefty, and Ally Johnson. Also participating on Varsity this year were Sophie Rotherham and Sydney Steckart.

Girls golf completed its season at sectionals on Tuesday, October 2 at Royal Scot Golf Course. The team finished 5th overall, and Ellese Martin finished 10th with a score of 88 and Josie Sullivan finished 19th with a score of 92. Abbey VanOoyen was named a member of the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin Academic All-State team. Only 319 student golfers are named to this team, and the average cumulative GPA of this year's honorees is 3.794.

Boys soccer had a great season as the student-athletes made it to regional finals. NDA congratulates the boys soccer team on a great season!
