As time has passed this spring, we have been working to provide thoughtful, rigorous and consistent learning for students during the coronavirus pandemic. Continuing uncertainties combined with requirements of social distancing have led us to make some modifications to summer school course offerings.
The good news is we maintain some summer school offerings: Computer Applications and Algebra I & II will be offered in an online learning format. Students who are registered for those courses will begin on schedule, and you will be hearing more about them soon.
If you have not yet registered and would like to do so, please fill out the ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION FORM to register for Summer School. The deadline to register for Summer School courses is June 5.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION ALTERNATIVE: Given current health and safety guidelines, we will not be offering phy. ed. courses: Team & Strategic Games or Lifetime Fitness. If you paid during the online registration process, you will be reimbursed for that payment by check soon.
As an alternative to the NDA summer phy. ed. courses, we encourage you to check into the high school phy. ed. courses offered by Brigham Young University.
The Fitness for Sports and Recreation courses offered by BYU below earn NDA credit:
Students can enroll in and complete these courses entirely online. Should you choose to register, please forward a copy of the confirmation to your student's counselor.
