NDA Foundation Endowment

Established in 1990, the Notre Dame Academy Foundation ensures the necessary financial resources to provide future generations of Tritons with the same experience more than 25,000 NDA and legacy school alumni have enjoyed since the beginnings of St. Norbert High School, Abbot Pennings High School, Central Catholic High School, Premontre High School, and St. Joseph Academy.

The NDA Foundation endowment, which holds 11 funds and more than 50 named scholarships valued in excess of $8.9 million, is managed by its Board of Directors and generates interest income for the school on a reliable annual basis, funding scholarships and financial aid, staff development, and educational programs.

Establishing a new NDA Foundation fund, making a gift to an existing fund by including the NDA Foundation in your will or estate plan, or designating the school as a beneficiary of an IRA are just a few ways to support the endowment and help assure the school’s continued health and vitality.

Named endowments can be created with a single gift of over $5,000 or over a period of several years using a variety of methods: contribution of cash or appreciated securities, or by making a provision for the NDA Foundation in your will or estate plan.

Our donors have a wide variety of planned gift vehicles to choose from, which include designating the school as a beneficiary of an IRA or other retirement asset, life insurance policy, checking or savings account, charitable lead trust, or charitable remainder trust. NDA recommends you always contact your financial advisor or attorney when making changes to your estate.

For those who wish to establish a new named endowment, the first step is to contact the President's Office to discuss particulars surrounding the fund, including its name and purpose. Once finalized, every donor will receive a copy of the formal fund agreement paperwork for his or her records, along with periodic updates from the NDA Foundation and invitation to special donor-only events.
