Science Teacher

Notre Dame Academy is searching for a full time Science Teacher. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach chemistry from 9th -12th grades with certification (1610) and will have experience differentiating lessons and assessments to ensure the success of all students. Honors Biology and Earth Science Teacher - Temporary, approximately 12 weeks 

Position Start date: 8/13/24 - 11/5/24
Appointment type:  Temporary
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have certification in biology (1605) or earth science (1635) but other licensure will be considered. The position will teach five sections of biology and earth/environmental science. Please note that this is a long-term substitute position. Successful candidates will be able to follow a well established curriculum and include their own creativity. Our team of veteran teachers is prepared to help you make the transition to our dynamic and faith filled community.

English Teacher - Long-Term Substitute

Position Start date:  Approximately 4/1/24 - 5/24/24
Appointment type:  Temporary, approximately 8 weeks

The ideal candidate for this position will have certification in English Language Arts (1300) but other licensure will be considered. This position is for five sections of English.  One section is ninth grade, one section is 11th grade and three sections are 12th grade. Please note that this is a long-term substitute position. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to differentiate lessons and assessments to ensure the progress of all students. Our team of veteran teachers is prepared to help you make the transition to our dynamic and faith filled community.
