ACT/SAT Test Prep

The ACT (American College Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) are standardized college entrance tests many colleges and universities may use as one part of their holistic application process. Most college-bound high school students take one test starting in the winter or spring of junior year and may repeat the test at a later date if scores are not satisfactory. Students applying to colleges in the Midwest usually opt to take the ACT. Please consult specific college websites to learn which test, if any, the college you are applying to requires.

The standardization of these tests means the material is consistent and predictable; therefore, we have a good idea what kinds of questions will show up on any given test. Properly studying, preparing, and practicing the right kinds of questions in advance will increase your chances of scoring well.
